Frequently Asked Questions

To promote a culture of innovation and creative problem-solving among school students, the Entrepreneurship Development, and Innovation Institute (EDII-TN), in collaboration with the Department of School Education (DoSE) and the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), is implementing the School Innovation Development Project (SIDP).

The objective of the program is to inspire students to solve problems by using a simple design thinking process as a method for innovation, collaboration, and acquiring 21st-century skills and leadership skills.

Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute (EDII-TN), in collaboration with the Department of School Education (DoSE) and the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), is implementing the School Innovation Development Project (SIDP).

Students from all government, government-aided, and partially-aided schools (both high school and higher secondary school) are eligible to participate in the program. Students from 9th to 12th standard can take part in this program. If you fall under this category but your school is not a part of SIDP, please contact us via email at sidp22-23@editn.in

As students engage with UNICEF's video-based curriculum of 21st-century skills, they not only acquire foundational entrepreneurship skills but also develop other qualities such as problem-solving, innovation, and leadership skills throughout their educational journey.

By creating awareness among students about Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), students can register and protect their innovations.
